A Mug Of Chai Tea Makes A Perfect Homecoming For A Tired Family
When my family starts dragging in from a hard day, the aroma of this Chai Tea Mix begins the relaxing process. Then, when they take their first sip, I watch as the stress flows right out of their little bodies. The initial confusion and noise when everyone comes through the front door is a little off-setting, so that’s why I have my cup of Chai Tea before they get home! Then I’m ready for the commotion and can greet the family with smiles along with their Chai Tea. Everybody takes a few minutes to finish their tea, and the rest of the night goes a lot more smoothly. Homework gets done, dinner gets served, and everybody is off to bed. I take a few minutes to enjoy the peace and quiet and have one more mug of Chai Tea.
If I didn’t have some frugal beverage recipes at my disposal, I wouldn’t be able to make our Chai Tea ritual a nightly event. My food budget wouldn’t be able to support it. I like adding a special “family moment” to our evenings just so we don’t get lost in the shuffle of everyday life.
